There are three ways the U-Turn Signal can be mounted:
- Use the Velcro strips. Attach one side to a window in
the back of the truck or van, and the other side to the signal
itself. Press firmly together.
- Using the steel bars: weld or drill one end to the trailer;
attaching the sign using nuts and bolts (included).
- Attach to a door: Drill a hole, attach spacers between
sign and door, and tighten nut on inside of door.
Once the signal is installed, take the wires from the 12 volt source
to the dash and toggle; then to the back of the signal. 18
gauge wire, where black is ground and white is 12 volt.
You can put a switch on the front driver's side panel if you wish
-- the type of switch is up to you. These can be purchased
locally at many stores.
Keep the U-Turn Signal at least 4" to 8" away from other
turn signals so there is no confusion.
If you don't care for "Do it yourself", installation
can be handled by any service station or place that installs radios.
